This is a visual novel with rhythm mini games. It tells the story of a group of friends during their senior year of high school. They’re all trying to figure out what to do after graduation, find a purpose in life and continuation after school. It’s a classic coming of age story.
The gameplay is mostly about following along. You get to make a couple of choices in dialogue which progresses the story. The most interactive element of the game is when the main character plays music, and it turns into a rhythm game. It’s not particularly hard. It’s just there to mix up the narrative.

At first I kind of loved the setting. It takes place in a modern high school, but the kids are all dinosaurs and there is an impending doom resting upon the whole scene, an astroid is threatening to hit earth. The kids have to tackle not only that they need to grow up and find out what to do with their lives, and the fact that there might not be any future for them at all. This is all super interesting.
The characters are also well thought out and I really like the main character of the game. The art style does exactly what it needs to and the music is really great. I also really like the voice actors. I think they do a really good job to bring the characters to life.
The game has everything going for it. It only needs filling out the details, the storytelling, the dialogue and the small intrigues within the story arc. This is where the game fails. The detailed writing is not good at all, it doesn’t interest me and in cases it’s cringe. It’s like some genius has drafted the game, and then handed it over to lesser writers that couldn’t deliver.

The worst part of the game is where the chapters play some version of Dungeons & Dragons, and it feels only like filling. They didn’t have anything else in the main story to tell, so they had to have the characters play a game to make the game longer.
In a game that is 90% story and 10% gameplay, bad writing really hurts the experience. It does however tie a nice little bow of the whole experience at the end, and this is why I rate this game as OKAY.
