Rez Infinite

The first thing you should do when you get a new VR headset is to download Rez Infinite. Yes, I’ve played it before and I’m going to play it again, god damnit!

Rez looks, feels and sounds even better than the original PSVR1 version. I played it standing and managed to play through all 5 levels in one sitting (standing?). In the PSVR1 version I would play one chapter at a time and rest between, but the PSVR2 headset is much more comfortable and less straining for the eyes so I could play through all the levels in one go.

I did get a little woozy at times when the camera was panning around 180 degrees but that wasn’t a big problem.

It’s the classic Rez experience but with higher quality graphics, better controls and less straining on the eyes.

The problem really with Rez Infinite on PSVR2 is that the experience is too good. The move controllers that you have are so precise that you shoot down everything in a blink of an eye. I got nearly 100% on all levels without breaking a sweat. So the game got too easy.

If you have a PSVR2 headset and haven’t played Rez, then it is a must play. If you have played it before it is just the same but with better controls.

I rate this game as GREAT.

Rating: 4 out of 5.
